Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Mr. Karsen Callahan. I earned my  Bachelors of Science in Exceptional Student Education form Saint Petersburg College. I have been teaching for 8 years in Pinellas county, and for the last 5 I have had the pleasure of teaching here at OFS.

I discovered my passion for teaching after moving from Cleveland, Ohio to St. Petersburg, Florida and began working at an after school child care program. For several years I worked with children with exceptionalities, and I became inspired to further my education in order to have a more fulfilling influence on the lives of our children. I embrace diversity, individuality, and open expression. I believe this has allowed me to continue to grow into a better person.

My passions include art, knowledge and enjoying the simple things in life. I’m an avid runner and try to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
